Winter is just around the corner and it snowed already at Madearis Studio! Warm coats, fuzzy sweaters, playful hats and scarves danced in our beautiful snow scene. Children met Frosty, threw snowballs and talked with sweet woodland animals. Constance, seen above, was just one of our favorites! What a wonderful way to start off this season. Christmas cards are a must!

Awaiting Baby...

The last few weeks before a first child's arrival bring excitement and anticipation. It is an honor capturing the bliss of a glowing new mom just prior to the big event.

That's My Name

Morgan is the kind of kid that makes photography so fun. This 9 year old can twist, and turn, and kick, and bend, and stretch. You get the picture she is amazing. This session was to commemorate her participation in the national level dance competition in Florida.

In addition to her amazing dance skills, Morgan is a big Taylor Swift fan; so we added her favorite lyrics from "White Horse" so she will always remember this time in her life. We know we will, Morgan is just so adorable!

When Cody was being photographed he had this uncanny ability to look into the lens and really connect. Don't you agree! This kid is destined for something great! We loved working with him, his girlfriend and his great parents! Cody, we think you have the "It" factor.

We are so excited to start sharing images from the upcoming class of 2010! We are kicking off the summer celebrating the upcoming class of 2010 with Austyn Rapp! This girl is the perfect example of "GRITS" (girls raised in the south). Not just another pretty Texas face, although she definitely is one, she is a nationally recognized pole vaulter, Panther Varsity Cheerleader, Miss Teen Ellis County, and spiritually grounded in her faith! We had so much fun working with her on this Senior Session. Denim, formal, spike heels, or flip flops, this girl is the reason we love SENIORS!

'Faith"

Sometimes when Roy looks in his lens, he will see wisdom in a child's eyes far beyond their young age. Faith is an extrodinary little girl that captivates all of us when she enters the studio. She comes into the camera room quiet and shy, then ends up leaving chattering endlessly! We love her recent 4 year old session, we are so glad she comes to play. And don't you think she reminds you of a young Natalie Wood!

Two of the sweetest kids we know! This was Maddie's first time to shine, she played with her babies and really showed off. Grayson is an "old pro" and seasoned portrait taker! Their mom and grandmother loved the collages we put together for them.

I am so fortunate to have been able to assist at Wren's parents wedding and now help Roy photograph her, one of the smartest, cutest little girls I've met. When I look at her I'm always captivated by her twinkling eyes, reminding me so much of her Daddy.

Kevin Flath, USMC, is another amazing student from Midlothian High School, Class of 2006! He recently joined the USMC and is currently stationed Missouri completing his training.
